Local Off to CIS Nationals
The UPEI Panthers are the 2012 AUS women’s hockey champions after defeating Mount Allison University 3-0 on Sunday in Dalhousie. Miramichi student Christina Kelly who plays forward for UPEI scored two goals and was player of the game in finals. Christina was also named to the Tournament All-Star team, with teammate Kristy Dobsen of Bathurst. UPEI will now repesent the AUS in Alberta at the CIS Finals.
