Come Play on Our River
“Come Play on Our River” is an award-winning children’s day camp at the Atlantic Salmon Museum. It gives children a hands on approach at a traditional lifestyle to many along the Miramichi. Children ages 6 to 13 learn skills including Fly Tying, Casting, Fly Fishing and Canoe Safety, while making new friends. The camp runs from July 9th to August 31st, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30-12:00 on Friday. Camps are arranged by age group and skill level. Each week the camp costs $95 which includes fly tying equipment and materials, fishing gear, canoe rentals, and a camp t-shirt.
