Saint Raphael’s Annual Fall Supper This Sunday
Saint Raphael’s Annual Fall Supper is scheduled for Sunday, October 27 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the Father AA McKinnon Memorial Hall in Blackville. Hosted by the Saint Raphael’s parish council, the menu includes a turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
Tickets are available at the door. The cost for adults is $10, $5 for children 12 years and under, and $10.50 for take-out dinners.
The Catholic Women’s League will be selling crafts and homemade preserves, as well as tickets for a basket of goodies, a 50/50 draw and other items.
Everyone welcome! Come on out and enjoy the meal and the company!
Parishioners of Saint Raphael’s may donate items for the supper by calling Sylvia at 843-2210. Items needed include whole and canned milk, cranberries, butter and margarine, and pickles. Donations can be made towards the purchase of turkeys. Any parishioners who would like to assist in preparing vegetables can stop by the church hall on Saturday afternoon or evening.
