Miramichi Fishing Report for Thursday, March 31, 2016

MIRAMICHI – Welcome to another year of “Doug’s Fishing Report”. As usual, I begin with the season kick-off of the Moncton Outdoors Show to be held this Weekend Friday April 1 to 3 at the Moncton Coliseum. A quick look at this year’s three-in-one show (The Dieppe Fly Fishing Show, the Moncton Boat Show and the Hunting & Outdoor show) is as follows:

sportsmensshow

Thought for the Week: “Fishing provides that connection with the whole living world. It gives you the opportunity of being totally immersed, turning back into yourself in a good way. A form of meditation, some form of communion with levels of yourself that are deeper than the ordinary self.”  Ted Hughes

Next week I will try to have an update of river ice conditions as we prepare for Opening Day.

Until next week

TIGHT LINES,
DOUG
