A Taste of Miramichi: The Governor’s Mansion Inn

Introducing The Governor’s Mansion Inn in A Taste of MiramichiThis year, Miramichi will enjoy four weeks of featured menus at 14 restaurants around the river.

A Taste of Miramichi, the Miramichi Chamber of Commerce’s dining event, runs from May 15th until June 11th, 2017.

Each participating restaurant will showcase a three-course menu (with two options for appetizer, entree, and dessert) which their chefs feel represent their unique “Taste Of Miramichi”.

We will be highlighting each restaurant’s menu and sharing a video about them.
Today we highlight The Governor’s Mansion Inn, located at 62 St. Patrick’s Drive in Nelson.

Owner Michael Mersereau invites you to join him and his staff for a little Taste of Miramichi.

“Built over 150 years ago for a timber baron family, the mansion that served as the official residence of New Brunswick’s Lieutenant-Governor is now a full service hotel with modern amenities and yours to enjoy. Dine by the river and enjoy our delicious menu as you drift back to a bygone era when the tall ships sailed the seas. Stroll along the riverbank and breathe in the salty Atlantic breeze. Enjoy our outdoors! Try your hand at fishing right out front; canoe or kayak; hike; bike; cross-country skiing or snowshoeing; snowmobile; and much more. Or just plain relax …”
