Miramichi Striper Cup 2019 – May 24th, 25th and 26th, 2019
Mr. Jeff Wilson and The City of Miramichi invite all fishing enthusiasts to Atlantic Canada’s Premier Bass Fishing Experience!
The Miramichi Striper Cup is a “catch and release” bass fishing tournament that attracts over 2,000 participants to the banks of the Miramichi River each year.
In 2018, the Miramichi Striper Cup awarded over $95,000.00 in cash and prizes including two Princecraft boats and Mercury outboard motors valued at $30,000.00.
The Miramichi Striper Cup has something for all skill levels with our three divisions of competition:
Team Division (May 24th – 26th, 2019) – Up to four team members compete for the top prize of $6,000.00 and the opportunity to complete for the “Lunker” prizes that are estimated to be over $3,000.00 per day.
Teams compete over two (2) days and are permitted to weigh two (2) fish per day for a total of four (4) fish over the two days.
Individual Division – (May 1st – May 24th, 2019) – Participants will be competing in a “Greatest Length” style competition.
All participants will be required to photo document their catch and valid submissions will be posted on Individual Leaderboard of the Miramichi Striper Cup website.
Youth Division – (May 1st – May 24th, 2019) – All participants under the age of 16 are eligible to participate for free in this month long “Greatest Length” style competition.

Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 to Friday, May 24th, 2019 (8:30 am to 4:30 pm)
Registration for the following divisions will be open:

Miramichi Striper Cup staff will be available to accept registrations for the tournament at the Visitor Information Centre located at:
21 Cove Road,
Miramichi, NB
E1V 0A6
All pre-registered participants must sign in and pick up registration package from tournament officials.
New registrants for Individual Division and Youth division will be accepted until 4:30 pm on Friday May 24th, 2019
Friday, May 24, 2019 (6:30 – 9:30 pm)
Doors open at 6:30 pm

Opening Reception at the Visitor Information Centre located at:

Miramichi, NB,

All pre-registered participants must sign in and pick up registration package from tournament officials. New registrants will be accepted (LAST CHANCE FOR TEAMS TO REGISTER)
A review of rules and regulations will be conducted, and tournament officials will be on hand to answer any questions related to the 2019 Miramichi Striper Cup.

Saturday, May 25, 2019 (7:00 am – 9:00 am)
Boats will be required to be inspected at Miramichi Port Facility (10 Jane Street, Miramichi, NB) or Ritchie Wharf (84 Norton’s Lane) prior to shotgun start.
All boats are encouraged to launch from Miramichi Port Facility (10 Jane Street, Miramichi, NB – please use eastern entrance)
ON-SITE SECURITY PROVIDED
ALL BOATS WILL BE REQUIRED TO MUSTER AT RICHIE WHARF FOR 9 AM START.
Saturday, May 25, 2019 (9:00 am – 5:30 pm)
Angling hours for Miramichi Striper Cup participants, along the Miramichi River within the designated boundaries.
Sunday, May 26, 2019 (6:00 am – 8:00 am)
