Annual Walk of Hope
Large support turned out for this year’s Walk of Hope hosted by the Schizophrenia Society of New Brunswick – Miramichi Chapter.
On Friday, May 22nd, the walk kicked off in the Walmart parking lot in Douglastown with walkers making their way to the Seaman’s Hospital to enjoy refreshments and music provided by 95.9 Sun FM.
Prizes were awarded to the top three pledge fundraisers. David Mann took first place and won a Via Rail package to Halifax valued at $850. Second place went to Abigail Pineau, who won a prize package valued at $350. And the third place prize package valued at $250 was won by Fidele Goguen Jr.
