Rotary Club of Newcastle’s next great adventure

The Rotary Club of Newcastle haves announced that the Miramichi Mango Team has partnered with them to organize the family activities that will take place during their Spring Fest event. The central location for these activities will be behind the Beaverbrook Kin Centre (old town hall) on Ledden Street in Newcastle.

A variety of activities are planned including: Family fitness classes, Jumping Castles, a magic show, water walkers, obstacle course, amazing race activity, face painting, stories, crafts and more. See the complete schedule below.

These activities are made possible with the support of community partners such as Tim Hortons, Carrefour Beausoleil, Big Brothers – Big Sisters, The Point Church, the Newcastle Public Library and Camp Sheldrake.

SpringFest activities include the Rib Fest with professional ribbers from the Toronto area, human foosball, washer toss ($1000 first prize), children’s activities, the community worship service, constant entertainment, and more. Spring Fest Family Activity Schedule

Saturday May 23rd

11 am – 4 pm:  Jumping Castle, provided by Big Brothers Big Sisters Fun Zone
11 am: Zumba with Patty
12 pm: Yoga with Heather
1 pm: Zumba with Erica
11 am – 5 pm: Water Walkerz, sponsored by Tim Hortons
11 am – 4 pm: Summer Camp Obstacle Course, organized by Camp Sheldrake
2 – 3 pm: Magic Show by Remi Boudreau, sponsored by Carrefour Beausoleil
12 – 1 pm: Face Painting, sponsored by Carrefour Beausoleil
11 am – 1 pm: Mascots, sponsored by Carrefour Beausoleil
10:30 am – 12 pm: Kids’ Activities at the Newcastle Library: Story time (games, stories, crafts & snacks)

Sunday May 24th

1 – 3 pm: Amazing Race, organized by The Point Church
12 – 4 pm: Summer Camp Obstacle Course, organized by Camp Sheldrake
12 – 1 pm: Face Painting, sponsored by Carrefour Beausoleil
