Fall Harvest APEGNB Pumpkin Fling 2019 on the Miramichi
The Northeast Branch of APEGNB is hosting the Fall Harvest APEGNB Pumpkin Fling from 9 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at the Waterford Green Park along the Miramichi River in the Parish of Chatham.
We have continued to build on the success of this event with other parties including the local Anglophone North School District, and Autism Resources Miramichi Inc.
There will be many STEM and pumpkin related activities and games for the kids along with food and other vendors. Using the large Cannon there is a prize awarded for the shot closest to the target and to second and third runners up, as well as a trophy for the “worst shot”.
It is anticipated that this shall be another banner year, with the rise of STEM in NB Schools fueling the public interest.
There are over 15 companies and institutions involved in this event, such as Sunny Corner Enterprises Inc., NBCC Miramichi, Lockerbie Farms, Brilliant Labs and Downtown Historical Miramichi Chatham Business District; bringing STEM into the community for a fall festival event.
