On Friday, June 7th, 2019, come out to the Miramichi Beaverbrook Kinsmen Club, located at 100 Newcastle Boulevard for the The Josie Foundation’s Annual Fundraising Dinner. The mistress of ceremonies is Mrs. Judy Hallihan Losier, and this year’s guest speaker is Mr. Stephen Somers. Fundraiser for Blackville Athletes to Represent Canada at Dance World Cup

A fundraising event will be held at the Miramichi Folklore Park in Renous on Sunday May 5th from 2 – 6 pm to support Abby Keenan and Anna Sturgeon, who will represent Canada this summer in Braga, Portugal at the Dance World Cup. The event will feature several local singers and musicians. Abby and Anna will also showcase their talent by performing a few dance routines. There will be a bake sale, 50/50 and tickets for a Mother’s Day basket draw.

The proceeds from this event will go towards supporting six students from North and South Esk Regional High School (N.S.E.R.) who will be taking part in a special trip to commemorate the North Shore Regiment and the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings.
