Wings of Change Miramichi – Hope, Recovery and Connecting with Peers – Strengthening Community Heroes through Constructive Support and Education. Wings of Change is a peer support group for all First-Responders, Law Enforcement Personnel, Communications Officers, Members of the Military, Healthcare Providers, Child Protection, Animal, Funeral, Correctional, and Judicial Service Workers be they career, retired, or volunteer. Meetings are held the 1st Wednesday and 3rd Thursday of every month, 7:30 to 8:30pm at the Nordin Rec Centre, 24 Nordin Lane, Miramichi.

The Newcastle Rotary would like to thank the staff at the Scotiabank Chatham, led by Valerie Comeau and the staff at the Scotiabank Henry Street led by Melissa McGloin for their amazing donation to this years Rotary Bags and Bubbles Purse Auction!! Staff of the Scotiabank on Water Street in Chatham are shown in a photo in this article presenting $3000 to the Rotary Club of Newcastle’s Purse Auction co-chair, Karen Howe.
