The 22nd Annual Natoaganeg – Eel Ground 1st Nation Annual Pow Wow is going to be held from July 18th to 21st, 2019. It is located at the Pow Wow grounds on Riverview Road East on the Natoaganeg – Eel Ground 1st Nation, overlooking the Miramichi River. It is their community’s cultural, spiritual and social event of the year and time to showcase the drumming, dancing and regalia of the First Nation people. The Second Annual Community Vigil Service will be held at the Blackville Municipal Park, 158 Main Street on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 7:00pm. This interfaith event allows our communities to gather and reminisce.
Please bring your own candle. Feel free to bring pictures, etc., to honour your loved ones. There will be words of encouragement and prayers offered. On Tuesday, June 25th, 2019, from 7 pm to 9 pm, come out to the Carrefour Communautaire Beausoleil for their Annual General Meeting. It will be held in the Gilles Laplante Theatre.
This is an invitation to the entire Francophone community of the Miramichi and surrounding areas.
