There is no shortage of live entertainment happening on the
Miramichi this spring.
The JMH Drama Club presents the musical Beauty and

the Beast on Friday, April 28 at 7 pm, Saturday April 29th
at 7 pm, Sunday April 30th at 2 pm and 7 pm, and Monday
May 1st at 7 pm. Advanced tickets are available for $10 at the
Chatham and Newcastle Jean Coutu and admission is $15 at
the door on the production dates.
On Saturday May 6th at 7 pm the Vogue Theatre in
Chatham welcomes Roxy & The Underground Soul Sound
and Jacob Strang & The High Class Hussies on Tickets are
$15 and are on sale now online at EventBrite.com and locally
at Mill Cove Coffee.
Lucien & Jimmy the Janitor’s Full of Beans Tour takes

over the Miramichi on Friday, May 12 at 7:30 pm at the
James M. Hill Memorial High School. Tickets are $25 and

Family Convenience in Chatham and Dickison’s Pharmasave
in Newcastle.
Save the date! The annual Miramichi Timberwolves
Spring Fling event starts at 8 pm on Saturday, May 13th, at
the Miramichi Civic Centre.
This summer O’ Donaghue’s Pub presents an Artist Show-
case Series with Host Terry Whalen every Thursday start-
ing June 8 . Terry Whalen will open each show at 7 pm

followed by a headliner at 8 pm who will perform two sets. This
series is a continuation of the former Whalen’s Barn series, pro-
viding world class entertainment every week. Some of the up-
coming performers include singer songwriter Rick Tiger from
Nashville, Jaclyn Reinhart from Fredericton, Ethan Ash from
the UK, Darren Arseneault from Nove Scotia, Keith Hallett
from Fredericton and many more.
Steve Poltz returns to Miramichi at the Rodd in Chatham

for an intimate performance on Tuesday, June 13 at 7 pm.
