                                             Miramichi History Museum

                                             Open: June 27 to September 3
                                             Hours: 10am - 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
                                             Admission is $3 for adults with children under 12 free.
                                             Established since 1897 it holds intriguing taxidermy displays in the
                                             natural history section and a wealth of artefacts, books, photos
                                             and history on Miramichi and a Native Canadian display.


                                             St. Michael’s Museum & Gift Shop

                                             10 Howard Street, 506-778-5152
                                             Summer hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm, Saturday
                                             Contains  historical  documents,  photos,  books  and  artefacts  of
                                             religious significance, as well as a bookstore, gift shop, library,,
                                             genealogical research service, and an extensive collection of sports
                                             and university photos and newspapers. Located on the grounds of

                                             NB Aviation Museum

                                             Summer Hours: 9am - 5pm, Thursday to Monday
                                             The museum is home to the largest memorabilia collection of the
                                             legendary aerobatic team, RCAF Golden Hawks, in Canada. Tuesdays
                                             and Wednesdays are available by reservation for school trips, tours

                                             Middle Island Irish Historical Park

                                             July 17: Irish Festival Sunday Picnic (1pm - 4pm)
                                             August 1: NB Day Family Picnic (1pm - 4pm)
                                             Small sandy beach for wading or swimming, trails and picnic areas.
