Miramichi Through Our Artists Eyes
Miramichi is home to many talented artists who show their love and appreciation for our region through
their artwork. Their work is often on display in their home studios, at local markets, libraries, exhibitions and
at the ARTcadienne Gallery and through Miramichi Art Core activities (www.miramichiartcore.ca).
Beaubears Island Artists in Residence Plein Air - this summer there will be artists painting on the Island, a different one
each week for ten weeks. Artists come to paint for one week and then display their paintings at the Interpretive Centre on
Saturdays. Dates TBA. Visit www.beaubearsisland.com for updates. Also see page 32 in this publication.
Cathleen Richards-Green is the artist behind the
three paintings on this page. She works in oils,
watercolors, and pastels and many of her paintings are
done on location in the beautiful Miramichi area.
