July 3 - Annual Picnic
Friends of Beaubears Island offers an afternoon of music, characters, and
authentic cuisine on Beaubears Island for $20/person (includes ferry service
to the island). The Heritage Players will be there to delight us with their
folklore songs (pictured on the right).
In the early 1900’s, picnics on Beaubears Island were a regular occurrence with hundreds of people in attendance
(pictured above). Let's make this happen again! We encourage all of Miramichi and surrounding areas to come to our July
3rd picnic, let's connect and support our local organizations and talent. This event is like no other, and all who have attended
loved the experience. Call 622-8526 to reserve a spot.
