What’s New, What’s Up, What’s Happening!
We’re looking for good stuff from all over the river on what’s new, what’s up and what’s happening! Submit your events, fundraisers, scenic photos, recipes, poetry, fiction, stories of local people who are doing good things, etc. Use the form below to submit text and upload pictures. Keep it positive, and we’ll share it! Submissions may be used in the printed magazine, online edition, or both.
Articles: Written submissions should be between 350 and 500 words.
Photos: photo submissions to the printed magazine should be high resolution meaning not re-sized or reduced for emailing (check your phone/ipad settings, some will reduce photos automatically when sending).
Submissions and Distribution Dates for Upcoming 2023 Publications:
Annual Mighty Miramichi River Guide: Submit by April 17. Dist. May 24
Summer Issue Giv’er Magazine: Submit by May 29. Dist. June 21
Harvest Issue Giv’er Magazine: Submit by July 24. Dist. August 16
Fall Issue Giv’er Magazine: Submit by September 11. Dist. October 4
Christmas Issue Giv’er Magazine: Submit by October 23. Dist. November 15
The distribution (Dist.) date is when the magazine is expected to arrive in people’s mailboxes via Canada Post (for those living within the delivery area), and when local pick-up locations will be stocked with new issues.
By submitting your photos, you retain copyright and remain the owner of your images and may also continue to use them in any manner you choose. You agree that the images you submit may be used in MCG Media’s printed publications, on our websites (including mightymiramichi.com and givermiramichi.com), and may be uploaded on Mighty Miramichi’s social media channels.
