Carnival for children with diabetes set for Nov. 2nd, 2007
There will be a diabetes carnival on Friday, Nov. 2nd, at 6 p.m. at the Golden Hawk Centre, to teach children living about diabetes and their families how to deal with the disease. Topics covered will include insulin pumps and pens, healthy eating, eye care, foot care, dental health and physical actitvity. There will also be a jumping castle, face painting and balloons for the children, as well as treat bags, and there will be refreshments for parents. Registration is required.
