New Year’s Baby Welcomed at the Miramichi Regional Hospital
The Miramichi’s New Year’s baby arrived five weeks early before his scheduled delivery date. The Miramichi Regional Health Authority welcomed its 2006 New Year’s baby, Ryan Allison, weighing 4 lbs, 3 oz at 6:12 p.m. on January 1st. Proud parents are Sylvie and Randy Allison of Boom Road. Ryan is a brother to Amber, aged 3 and Matthew, aged 15.
As part of the New Brunswick Medical Society’s 2006 Safe Start Program, Dr. Sanjay Siddhartha, district representative and president of the Miramichi medical staff, presented Ryan and his parents Sylvie and Randy with a new infant car seat. The NB Medical Society presents an infant car seat to the first New Year’s baby born in each hospital as part of its Safe Start Program. The program reinforces the idea that children need to be properly restrained in cars.

Le premier bébé de l’année à Miramichi est arrivé cinq semaines avant prévu. La Régie régional de la santé de Miramichi a accueilli son bébé de l’année 2006, Ryan Allison, 4 lb, 3 oz, vers 18 H 12 le 1er janvier. Les heureux parents sont Sylvie et Randy Allison du chemin Boom. Ryan est un petit frère pour Amber, 3 ans et Matthew, 15 ans.
Dans le cadre du Programme Sécurité-bébé de la Société médicale du Nouveau-Brunswick, le Dr Sanjay Siddhartha, représentant de la Société médicale et président du personnel médical de Miramichi, a présenté à Ryan et à ses parents, un siège de sécurité. La Société médicale du Nouveau-Brunswick donne au premier-né de l’année dans chaque hôpital un siège de sécurité dans le cadre du Programme Sécurité-bébé, qui fait ressortir l’importance d’utiliser correctement les sièges de sécurité dans les véhicules.
