Finally …
Finally!
I have fished the Nor’ West from Aug on and have seen lots but have not been able to hook a salmon or grilse … I have seen lots and learned how people fish the river with high and low water.
Saturday the 13th, I was fishing Black’s Pool and finally hooked one. It went deep right away and I thought I hooked a rock right away.
One head shake told me otherwise … I had a fish on!
I played it for a bit and landed it. What a great way to end the year!
Oh, the fish was black as a boot!
