Get ready to challenge your senses! CNIB’s Dining in the Dark is a unique dining experience with proceeds going to support people living with vision loss. We are excited to announce that volunteers are working hard to bring this event to Miramichi and it will take place March 23rd , 2013 at the Newcastle Lions Club.

With the option to wear your blindfold, this experience allows you to get in touch with all of your remaining senses as they are rewired to savour the smell and taste of your dining experience. Conversation becomes more intimate and immediate. Sensations are stimulated. Expand your imagination and understanding of what individuals who are blind or partially sighted experience throughout their lives.

We would be honoured if you would show your support. There are many ways to get involved from becoming an event sponsor to purchasing tickets to join us that evening. By doing so, you would be supporting the over 22,400 people in New Brunswick living with a vision loss.

Should you be unable to attend but still wish contribute, consider a cash donation or a contribution for our auction and mystery trunk. This provides an excellent opportunity to promote your business and services, while at the same time helping to support CNIB activities in our area, providing vision health and vision hope to anyone needing access to our programs and services.
