Benefit to be held for George Dunn
A benefit for George Dunn of White Rapids will take place next Sunday afternoon, October 6 from 2pm-6pm at the Dungarvon Whooper Lounge on McLaggan Drive in Blackville. All proceeds will go towards medical and travel expenses while George undergoes radiation therapy in Moncton for Esophageal Cancer. Music will be provided by local talent, with raffles and a silent auction throughout the day. A light lunch will be provided.
Organizers are also selling tickets on a number of prizes. $2 each or 3/$5
- 1st Prize: Fishing Rod, reel, line, and flies donated by: George’s Fly Shop
- 2nd Prize: Trail Cam donated by: HD Dunn Logging
- 3rd Prize: Butane Camp Stove donated by: Miramichi City Surplus
Draw will take place at the benefit.
