SPCA Hold First Ever Online Auction
The Miramichi SPCA will be holding its first ever online auction to help fund the local shelter. The auction will begin today, December 11, at 6:00 pm and end on Sunday, December 14 at 6:00 pm. 72 items will be up for bid during the auction, and participants are asked to make their bids via Facebook.
Images of the items for auction will be posted to the Miramichi SPCA Facebook Page at 6:00 pm. To participate, simply include your bid in the comment section of the item you are interested in. The person with the highest bid at the end of the auction will be asked to pick up the item by December 20. If an item is not picked up in that time, it will go to the next-highest bidder.
Winners can pick up their items at the SPCA or Blanche Street in Newcastle. The SPCA will only accept cash or personal cheques as payment.
The online auction is a great way to show support for this local non-profit. If you would like to help the Miramichi SPCA but are not interested in their auction, they accept donations of cash and supplies on their website. If you have time to spare, they are always in need of volunteers and foster homes for their animals in need.
