Hardy Feast -Ironmen Down Royals 8-1

The Miecon Ironmen journeyed to Fredericton May 29 and came home with an 8-i victory. The Ironmen had three home runs, one each by the Hardy brothers, Nick and Darren (two run belt) and a solo shot by Jeff McCarthy. Kris Keating had three hits for the Ironmen while Ryan Barry slashed out 2 singles.

JF Neveu got the win in relief of Emmerson Savage. Neveu tossed 4 innings giving up 1 run  and 2 hits while striking out 5. Savage went three innings giving up zero runs , 2 hits and having 2 strikeouts. He was taken out after three for precautionary reasons

That gives Neveu 30 wins as an Ironmen, passing Terry Leggatt on the all-time list.

Next games are at home against the Charlottetown Islanders on Saturday June 6 with a double header starting at 6:00
