Around the River this Weekend
Looks like another fantastic weather weekend for the Mighty Miramichi and there’s lots happening around the River!
Canadian Country sensation Whitney Rose is in town tonight fresh from the pages of Rolling Stone magazine. She’s performing with special guests Mel & Tina of Moncton at The Vogue Theatre in Chatham. Doors open at 6:30 and the music starts at 7:30 pm. It’s a big night for the Chatham side of the river as Willy McGee’s presents Canada’s premiere tribute to Neil Young starting at 10 pm.
Tomorrow night you might want to head up river to the Central NB Woodmen’s Museum in Boiestown to spend the evening with author David Adams Richards and “The Friends of Meager Fortune”. Travel back to the time of log jams and logging camps! Enjoy a Salmon & Fiddlehead Dinner and spend an evening with a renowned award-winning Miramichi author!
