Ironmen Suffer Tough Loss To Fisher Cats 3-2
The Miecon Ironmen had a 2-0 lead going into the bottom of the 7th inning but couldn’t close the deal as they suffered a 3-2 set back. Junior call up Nick Leggatt tossed 6.2 innings, giving up zero earned runs while striking out 4. In 13.2 innings this year, Leggatt has yet to give up an earned run.
Darren Hardy had a double and an RBI for the Ironmen while Jamie Walls contributed with a single and an RBI
Next game is tomorrow night , Thursday July 6, when the Ironmen host the same Fisher Cats with a 7:30 start at Ironmen Field.
