Walter MacDonald Memorial Concert
The 4th Annual Walter MacDonald Memorial Concert happened Saturday November 7th at the Miramichi Golf and Country Club in Bushville.
Both the upstairs and downstairs rocked with entertainment including Tim Malley, Jack Bowe, MooseKnuckle, Gary Cook, Durty Nelly’s, Raglan Road, Whiskey Fingers, Travis Conroy, Mike Davis, Rick Davis, Jim MacDonald, Caroline Boudreau, Bob McCallum, Jimmy Lawlor, Peter LeBelle, Stan Taylor, Corey MacDonald, Dillon Ryan’s Hindsight, Terry Whalen Band, Short Sweet Ride, and Crossover.
Walter MacDonald’s son Corey, the talented Durty Nelly’s drummer, created the event to celebrate his father’s memory and his love for music. All proceeds go toward musical instruments and program equipment for local schools. Throughout the evening donations were accepted at the door as well as funds raised through 50/50 draws.
