Brophy’s to Celebrate Golden Wedding Anniversary
Donnie and Louise (Keenan) Brophy will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open-house on Saturday, October 29th.
The celebration begins at 4 pm at the Father AA McKinnon Memorial Hall, 105 Main Street in Blackville.
A potluck supper will be served at 5 pm. All are welcome to attend.
The couple were married on October 22, 1966 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Howard, with Father Joseph Woods officiating.
They have five daughters: Wendy (Keith Astle), Jackie (Rodney Jardine), Mary Lynn (Wordie Curtis), Dawn (Harry Dunn) and Sheri (Neal Dunn).
They also have six grandchildren: Haley Jardine, Julia and Maddie Astle, Aaron and Thomas Dunn, and Marty Dunn.
