Public Notice: City Storm Clean-up Advisory

The City of Miramichi would like to advise residents that planning has begun in preparation for the final Ice Storm municipal clean-up of large branches and brush. It is anticipated that the clean-up will take place in late May. The exact date will be announced in the coming weeks.

Residents are reminded that the following rules shall apply for this clean-up:

– Large branches and bundled debris are to be placed at the edge of the roadway. The City will not be picking up branches that are not brought to the edge of the roadway

– Do not obstruct roadways or sidewalks when preparing branches to be picked up

Residents are also reminded that they have the option to transport and dispose of their branch/tree debris, at their convenience, at the following sites:

1- 650 Beaverbrook Road – Cardinal Park

2- 127 Nelson Street – Miramichi Ski Club

3- 86 McKinnon Road (Douglastown)

4- 170 Walsh Avenue (Chatham Industrial Park)

5- 1100 Wellington Street (Loggieville Parish)
