The Second Annual Model Train Show in Miramichi happens this weekend Saturday, September 17th from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Chatham Lions Club, 55 Cunard Street. Presented by Miramichi Crime Stoppers and the Chatham Lions Club, general admission is $3, $2 for students, and children under the age of 12 (accompanied by an adult) get in for FREE!
You will see eight operating layouts with over 30 displays, including G, O & HO scale. Check out our railroading sales and display table, along with on-site canteen services. Face-painting for the kids (or the young at heart). For your convenience, this event is wheelchair accessible.
Members from Miramichi Police Force, RCMP District 6 Miramichi, Department of Natural Resources, Corrections Canada, N.B. Crime Stoppers, and other law enforcement agencies will be in attendance. Watch for a special appearance by our mascot, Mr. Tips the Raccoon. Also, Crime Stoppers’ Crime Cruiser will be on display, giving out colouring books and information about the Crime Stoppers program.
