World Tai Chi Day will be celebrated locally at Ritchie Wharf in Newcastle starting at 10 am tomorrow, Saturday April 26th. This is an annual open public demonstration of the ancient Healing Art from China.

This worldwide event kicks off in New Zealand, travelling around the world to finish in Hawaii. Oriental Arts – Tai Chi & Qi Gong School will make sure that the Mighty Miramichi is included in this World Event.

The Health benefits of Tai Chi & Qi Gong practice are so numerous, especially for the senior section of our society that we are all working hard to get this Ancient Art accepted as part of our health system, thereby saving millions of dollars for our health system budget.

Professor Peter M. Wayne of Harvard Medical School has recently published a book detailing his finding on these health benefits, The Harvard Medical School Guide to Tai Chi. This book has already become a great tool in our struggle to save the health system major money by improving the health of our senior citizens, and any, or all that are interested in health improvement.

Come see this Art in action from 10 am at Ritchie Wharf! Everyone welcome!
