Bowes Tosses a 2 Hitter in 2-0 Loss to Royals
Kevin Bowes only gave up 2 hits, both in the 7th when Fredericton scored the only runs of the game, struck out 3 and walked 1 in a 2-0 loss to the Royals.. Bowes pitched brilliantly and deserved a better fate. The Ironmen had 5 hits, leaving the bases loaded in the 1st and two runners on in the 2nd. Orry Cook had two hits for the Ironmen.
