The Miecon Ironmen split a doubleheader on June 20 losing the opener 8-5 but coming back to win the night cap 10-2
Jeff McCarthy had 3 hits in Game 1 while Kris McKay hit a solo home run.. Orry Cook had 2 hits
In Game 2, JF Neveu pitched a complete game 3 hitter while recording 8 strike outs. Robert Gallant had 3 hits for the Ironmen while Orry Cook, Kris Mckay and Kris Keating had two apiece with one of Keating’s a home run.
Next games are Saturday June 27 when the Saint John Alpines are in town for a doubleheader, starting at 6:00 at Ironmen Field.
