Central New Brunswick Woodmen’s Museum – Lumberjack Competition

The Central New Brunswick Woodmen’s Museum is located in the Geographical Centre of the Province in Upper Miramichi at Boiestown. Situated in the heartland of the lumbering industry, this 15 acre site provides insight into the vibrant and colourful lives of the woodsmen, their families, and the community. The Museum will be hosting its annual STIHL Timbersports competition on August 15th. This competition features a variety of exciting events including the springboard chop, the hot saw and the axe throw.

This is a great event for the entire family that displays part of the heritage of New Brunswick!  Hot dogs and hamburgers will be available for purchase. There are various categories for the competition including best lumberjack, lumberjill and a fun competition for the kids!
