Successful 40th Annual Festival des Fruits de Mer
The annual Festival des Fruits de Mer in Baie-Ste-Anne wrapped up yesterday, Sunday July 12th after a week of great community support and participation in events.
Activities included a good old fashioned movie matinee, softball tournament, community mass, family picnic, infant pageant, Fishermen’s Ball and much more.
Part of the event honours the Fisherman of the Year through the passing of the fishermen’s hat. Last year’s winner Ulysses Manuel passed the honour on to Luc Martin this year, who wore the hat proudly throughout the festival.
