17th Annual COPA Fly-In Held
The 17th annual Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) Fly-In was held over the weekend on Saturday August 15th and Sunday August 17th. Miramichi Chapter 39 hosted the event at their Miramichi Airport Clubhouse. Parking and camping areas were available on site.
The weekend not only allowed COPA members the opportunity to proudly show off their planes, but there was also a Forest Protection Turbo Prop Water Bomber on display, as well as displays and demonstrations of Model Aircraft by the Miramichi Radio Control Modellers Club. On Saturday the Moncton Dodge Vipers held a Race on the runway and there were lots of activities for the whole family.
