Large Crowd at Tabusintac Old Home Week Parade & Fireworks
All roads lead to Tabusintac this week as Old Home Week celebrations are now well under way and will continue throughout the week before concluding with the Farewell Dance on Saturday night, August 8th. Click here to get the full schedule of events.
Yesterday a large crowd came out to the Tabusintac Wharf to watch the boat parade. Before the parade a blessing of the fleet was done by Danny Ward in Mic Mac, Gerald Blaquiere from the United Church in Tabusintac and Marcel Lagace from the Neguac Catholic Church. After the decorated boats sailed past, the sky lit up with a great fireworks display.
