Fall Fling in Doaktown Saturday
Everyone is invited to come out and join the fun of the Fall Fling happening this Saturday, October 24th, at the Doaktown Curling Club from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is by donation in support of Doaktown Self Help.
There will be a market with over 40 vendors, entertainment for children, free popcorn and lemonade, 50/50 draw, basket of wonderful local and vendor donations, free games, face painting, and more. Country Fried Won Tons will be there selling food and refreshments. Lounsbury’s Miramichi will be there doing a test drive challenge with a few of their great vehicles.
There’s sure to be something for everyone in the whole family!
Schedule of Events
10 am to 4 pm – Vendor Market
10 am to 4 pm – Test Drive Challenge brought to you by Lounsbury’s Miramichi
11 am – Kiddie Games begin and will continue throughout the day (small fee, prizes)
11 am – Cake Walk ($2 entry and chance to win a home-made cake )
12 noon – Children’s Halloween Costume Contest (prize)
12 pm to 4 pm – Face Painting ($2)
1 pm – Cake Walk
1 pm to 3 pm – Photo Shoot with Elsa from Disney’s Frozen ($5 fee for an emailed digital edited copy of the photo)
2 pm – Door Prizes Draw as well as 50/50 draw
3 pm – Cake Walk
Country Fried Wontons will be onsite throughout the day with a full menu.
