2018 Schedule for Canada’s Irish Festival on the Miramichi

The 2018 Canada’s Irish Festival on the Miramichi will be held from July 19th – 22nd, 2018.

It is Canada’s longest running Irish festival has something for everyone!!  Come enjoy pubs, music, cultural activities and the hospitality of Miramichi. Four days of events that include concerts and meals, parades and pubs. There something at the Irish Festival to entertain your whole family.

Thursday, July 19th 2018

1:00pm – Scott McKay Memorial Irish Open – Miramichi Golf and Country Club

7:30pm –  New-Brunswick Senior Baseball League

  • Chatham Senior Ironmen vs. Fredericton Royals

7:00pm-9:00pm – Miramichi River Cruise aboard Max Aitken with Gerry Roberts ($30/ticket)

7:00pm – Irish Canadian Cultural Association 35th Anniversary Reception Rodd Miramichi River


Friday, July 20th 2018

12:00pm-5:00pm – Free entertainment on Waterford Green

  • Gerry Roberts, Bob McCallum and Jimmy Lawlor, Melanie Ross, Sons of the River, Frantically Atlantic

6:30pm – Canada’s Irish Festival on the Miramichi Opening Ceremony

8:30pm-1:00am – Friday Evening Concert/Pub

8:30pm – Rob Currie and the Hard Tickets

11:00pm-1:00am – Three Finger Shot


Saturday, July 21st 2018

11:00am – Family Walking Parade

12:00pm-5:00pm – Free entertainment on Waterford Green

  • Nelson Doyle Dancers, Frantically Atlantic, Melanie Ross, Gerry Roberts, Bob McCallum and Jimmy Lawlor

9:00pm-1:00am – Saturday Evening Pub

9:00pm-10:30pm– Three Finger Shot

11:00pm-1:00am– Raglan Road


Sunday, July 22nd 2018

10:00am – Breakfast/Lunch at Captain’s Gallery on Middle Island Irish Historical Park

10:30am – Eucharistic Celebration

12:00pm – Family Fun Day on Middle Island Irish Historical Park

7:00pm – Closing Concert with Irish Tenor Ronan Tynan (James M. Hill Theatre)
