Celebrate Canada 2014 Car Show Postponed due to weather
The DowntownS Miramichi Newcastle Business District would like to inform the public that Celebrate Canada 2014 Car Show and Shine event scheduled in Queen Elizabeth Park on Saturday July 5th is postponed due the inclement weather being forecasted as part of Hurricane Arthur.
Mavis Williamson, General Manager for the DowntownS Miramichi, stated the board of directors felt it best to make an early decision, respecting the car owners, performers and all involved in the event. It is identified for 35+ mm rain in the forecast, and since the full track of the system cannot be identified, we felt it best to postpone the event to a date to be announced in the near future.
This was not an easy decision to make, as everyone looks forward to displaying their cars and enjoying the great entertainment we have booked. DowntownS Miramichi – Newcastle Business District still looks forward to hosting this event. We will forward information on the new date once details are confirmed.
