Newcastle Lions celebrate 50th
The Newcastle Lions Club celebrated their 50th Anniversary with a banquet Saturday May 16th.
Past Presidents of the Newcastle Lions Club, members, and many from other Lions Clubs from across the province were in attendance to celebrate this special milestone. The hall was filled to capacity.
Awards were presented to John Lockerbie (Life Membership Lions International), Gary Mac Isaac (Melvin Jones Fellow), Daryl MacTavish (Melvin Jones Fellow), Les Froment (50 Years of Service), and John Bracken (Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow).
